Carly Bird, a 20-year-old higher education lecturer and a dedicated athlete herself, remarked on the sense of community fostered by the event. It’s inspiring!" said Bird, who also coached a few of the competitors this year. Local businesses were equally thrilled to contribute to the festival's success.
